11. TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
The print head is dirty.
The media is discol-
oured.
Un-specified media is
used.
The media cover
release catches are not
locked completely.
Un-specified media is
used.
The battery life is
expired.
The status indicator
lights or blinks in red.
The media is not
loaded correctly.
Other problems
Print failure
Blurred print
The printer receives
print data but does not
print.
Corrective action
Clean the print head.
Replace the media roll
with a new one.
Replace the media roll
with the proper one.
Close the media cover
so that the media cover
release catches snap
back into position.
Replace the media roll
with the proper one.
Replace the battery with
a new one which has
been fully charged.
Clear the error.
Re-load the media
correctly.
