Basic Operations
Using the Call Waiting Service
1. The call waiting tone is heard during a call.
2. Press J (Options).
3. Select Answer and press J (Select).
The original caller is placed on hold and a connection is
established with the second caller. Both names appear on the
display.
4. Press N to switch between callers.
Stopping the Call Waiting Service
1. After Step 2 of Starting the Call Waiting Service (page 33),
select
Deactivate and press J (Request).
After a network connection is established, the settings complete
screen appears.
Multiparty Call Service
This service allows you to call other parties during a call and then
switch between the parties or talk to multiple parties simultaneously.
A call with up to six people including yourself is possible. The names
and/or phone numbers of all the parties appear on the display during
the call.
1. Enter the phone number of another party you want to call during a
call and press
N.
The original party is placed on hold and you can talk to the new
party.
2. Press J (Options) to perform one of the following operations.

Swap: Allows you to change the party of a private call.
◆
Multiparty: Allows you to select the multiparty call state.
◆
Mute My Voice: Mutes the outgoing sound.
◆
Mute All: Mutes all the outgoing and incoming sound.
◆
Contacts List: Allows you to refer to the Contacts list.
◆
Call Log: Allows you to access the call log (page 30).
◆
Voice Record: Records the other partys voice.
◆
My Details: Displays the owner information (page 47).
◆
DTMF Off/On: Allows you to disable or enable the sending of
DTMF tones.
You can also place the original caller on hold and answer the call
from the second caller if you press
n
N after Step 1.
Tip
The options that are available vary depending on the call status.
