Receiving Faxes

Press the Start key.
The machine starts receiving the fax.

If the machine is in any mode other than Fax mode, press the Fax key to
enter Fax mode before pressing the Start key.

After completing the telephone conversation, press the Start key to begin
receiving the fax.

If the handset is picked up and the call is being received from a fax
machine, press the Start key to begin receiving the fax.

Replace the handset to its cradle.
Forwarding Received Faxes
With forwarding, the received document is sent to the destination specified with
this machine.
A fax number or e-mail address can be specified as the forwarding destination.

Printing Received Faxes
Printable Area
The printable area on all media sizes is
up to 4.0 mm (0.157") from the edges of
the media.
Each media size has a specific print-
able area (the maximum area on which
the machine can print clearly and with-
out distortion).
