Grounding an Outdoor Antenna
If the tuner is used with an outdoor antenna, the
antenna must be grounded against static
charges and voltage surges. Consult the instruc-
tions that came with the antenna or contact the
antenna manufacturer for proper installation
instructions.
The diagram above gives a general depiction of
how an outdoor antenna should be grounded. For
complete guidelines on antenna grounding proce-
dures, please consult the National Electrical
Code, Section 810, ANSI/NFPA No. 70-1984.
