BACK-UP BATTERY REPLACEMENT
MAINTENANCE
2) Lift the heat shield up and pull out slightly to clear the head screws
and then hang it on the top bracket (located directly above the heat
shield, close to the top of the fi rebox).
1) Loosen the 2 screws that hold the right side heat shield in place.

4) Disconnect the wires connected to the battery.
3) Remove the battery by lifting off the velcro and bring out from the side
of the fi rebox.
CONTROL BOX REPLACEMENT
1) Remove the exterior brick panels.
2) Remove the glass door.
a. Release the 2 door latches on the left and right side at the top of
the fi rebox.
b. Swing the door out from the top and release the hinges on the
left and right side of the door by lifting them up.

3) Loosen the 2 screws that hold the right side heat shield in place.

5) Replace with new battery and reconnect battery wires accordingly.
6) Re-install the battery to the right side of the fi rebox.
7) Re-install the right side heat shield.
