BACK-UP BATTERY INSTALLATION

4) Lift the heat shield up and pull out slightly to clear the head screws
and then hang it on the top bracket (located directly above the heat
shield, close to the top of the fi rebox).
3) Loosen the 2 screws that hold the right side heat shield in place.

8) Re-install the heat shield.
2) Remove the plastic pin protectors from the battery.
5) Pull out the black and red battery wires from the right side of the
fi rebox.
1) Unsecure the battery from the outer fi rebox base fl ange by cutting the
cable tie and remove from protective wrapping.

6) Connect the red and black wires to the battery accordingly.
7) Place the battery into position at the base of the fi rebox as shown.
Note - Battery Hookup
Ensure that the black wire is connected to the black spade
and the red wire is connected to the red spade.
