Chapter 7 Other Functions

You can press the D BEAM or RIBBON CONTROLLER [FILTER]
button to apply the FILTER effect and add nuance to the tone in
Channel A or B, or both channels.
1.
Press [CONTROL ASSIGN]
2.
Press PAGE [
] [
] to go to Page 2 for the D
Beam, or Page 3 for the ribbon controller.
3.
Press [F2] (FILTER).
4.
Press PAGE [
] to go to Page 1.
The D BEAM FILTER or the RIBBON FILTER screen appears.
5.
Use [F1] (SELECT) or the F1 knob to select the
channel to which you want the effect to be
applied.
6.
Set each of the FILTER parameters on Page 1.

7.
Press [EXIT] several times to return to the Play
screen.
8.
Press the D BEAM or RIBBON CONTROLLER
[FILTER] button, causing the indicator to light.
9.
Use the D Beam or ribbon controller to apply
the filter and add nuance to the sound.

With D BEAM:FILTER:SW or RIBBON:FILTER:SW and D
BEAM:FILTER:CONTROL and RIBBON:FILTER:CONTROL set
as the target in Control Assign, you can control
FILTER:CONTROL using an external pedal, MIDI device, or any
of a variety of other controllers.
