Basic Operation

To operate the HPi-7F, first press the button for the desired function, then use the cursor buttons and [O] [×] [A] [B] buttons while viewing the screen.

Screen Operations

[×] button
Returns you to the notation

screen. Cancels an operation.

[O] (Circle) button
Confirms the item selected by

the cursor.
This button performs the

function shown in the screen.

Setting
Use the up/down cursor

buttons to edit the setting

selected by the cursor.

Cursor
Use the cursor buttons to select

an item. If the screen extends

across two or more pages, you

can switch pages by pressing

the left/right cursor buttons a

number of times.

[A] button, [B] button
These buttons perform the

functions shown in the screen.
