While playing a tape,
when you reach the scene
you want, press the
DISPLAY button twice.

The time counter appears
in the upper left corner of
the screen.

Press the CLEAR button to
reset the timer to
“00:00:00.”

Press DISPLAY again to
enter the scene into mem-
ory.

The letter “M” appears
beside the time counter.

If you want to remove the time
counter memory from the screen and
cancel the memory stop feature, just
press the DISPLAY button again.
Using Memory Stop
Memory stop makes it easy for you to find a particular scene in a video tape. The VCR
automatically stops rewinding or fast forwarding when the memory counter is at
“00:00:00,” so you simply need to mark the desired scene as “00:00:00.” Then, you’ll be
able to search for that place the next time you watch the tape.
