Reply

: Allows you to send a reply message to the sender of the cur-

rently displayed message. Press

Key in a message (of up to 160 characters). The number of remaining
available characters is shown in the upper right corner of the display.

Once you have written the message, press

available functions and scroll with

to the desired function and

) to perform it.

Send

: Sends the message to the desired phone number. Key in the

recipient’s phone number (or press

Phone book

) and scroll

).

Note: To send a text message, your message centre number must
be stored in the Message Centre Number menu (Menu 2 5).

Save

: Allows you to store the message for sending it later by using

the

Send

function in the Read Messages menu (Menu 2 1).

Tip: While editing a message or keying in a new message, you can switch
to numeric mode by pressing and holding the

key. The ABC indicator

will disappear from the display. To switch back to alpha mode, press and
hold the

key again. The ABC indicator will reappear.
