Switching On the Phone
Before switching on the phone, check that a fully charged battery is in-
stalled in the phone and that there is a valid SIM card fitted in the phone.
•
WARNING! Do not switch on the phone when wireless phone use is
prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.
Normal Position: Hold the phone as you would any other phone with
the antenna pointed up and over your shoulder.
Tips on Efficient Operation: As with any other radio transmitting de-
vice, do not touch the antenna unnecessarily when the phone is
switched on. Contact with the antenna affects the call quality and may
cause the phone to operate at a higher power level than otherwise
needed.
