Setting the Flash Mode

Press the
m (flash pop-up) button.
The built-in flash will be raised.
• When the built-in flash is lowered, the flash mode will be fixed to W (off ).

Press
m (flash mode).
• The flash mode menu is displayed.

Use the multi selector to choose the desired
mode and press the
k button.
• The icon for the selected flash mode is displayed at the
top of the monitor.
• When U (auto) is applied, D is only displayed for
a few seconds even if monitor indicators (
turned on.
• If a setting is not applied by pressing the
k button
within a few seconds, the selection will be cancelled.

Lowering the Built-in Flash
When not using the built-in flash, gently push to lower the flash until
it clicks shut (
