Before you use e-mail, you must do the following:

provider and internet service provider.

Inbox—receive messages

When there are unread messages in the inbox, the icon
changes to

To open a received message, select

Menu

Messaging

>

Inbox

and the desired message.

Important: Exercise caution when opening
messages. Multimedia message objects may
contain malicious software or otherwise be
harmful to your device or PC.

View multimedia objects

To view the list of media objects that are included in the
multimedia message, open the message, and select

Options

>

Objects

. You can save the file in your phone or

send it using Bluetooth technology or as a multimedia
message to another compatible device.

Special message types

Your phone can receive many kinds of messages, such as
operator logos, business cards, calendar entries, and
ringing tones.

To open a received message, select

Menu

>

Messaging

>

Inbox

and the desired message. You can save the special

message content to your phone. For example, to save a
received calendar entry to the calendar, select

Options

>

Save to Calendar

.

Note: The picture message function can be used
only if it is supported by your service provider.
Only compatible devices that offer picture
message features can receive and display picture
messages. The appearance of a message may vary
depending on the receiving device.
