NI icon in the system tray of your desktop, click Reset Bridges Settings
and restart your computer.

Error Code 28 on the Other PCI Bridge Device

This code means the device was not installed completely. Re-install the
NI CardBus-8310 driver from the driver CD provided before inserting the
NI CardBus-8310 card into the CardBus slot of the host computer.

Error Code 28 on a third party card in the PXI chassis

This code means the device was not installed completely. To resolve this
issue, remove the device from Device Manager (by right-clicking the
device entry and selecting Uninstall) and use the Add New Hardware
Wizard to re-detect it. If that is unsuccessful, re-install the driver from the
installation CD provided, or get the latest driver from the manufacturer’s
web site.

Error Code 31 on a third party card in the PXI chassis

This error means that the device is not working properly. This code usually
appears when a device is dependent on another device to function properly.
Remove the device from Device Manager (by right-clicking the device
entry and selecting Uninstall) and use the Add New Hardware Wizard to
re-detect it. If that is unsuccessful, use the other CardBus socket in your
host computer. If you don’t have another CardBus socket, please contact
technical support.
