This item selects the test mode within the CX/TX interface. When set to
Off , the printer will operate normally. When set to EBCDIC Code Dump , the
printer will print the EBCDIC value of the characters received to assist
programmers in software debugging (for more information refer to the
FormsMaster 8000 Series Programmer’s Manual). When set to
Loopback ,
the interface will perform internal diagnostics and print the result.
