CONTROL PANEL FEATURES
The following picture shows the printer’s control panel. The control panel
consists of a two line LCD display, an ONLINE status indicator, nine push
button switches or “buttons”, and a speaker. Each of these items is
described below

LCD Display and Online Indicator
LCD Display This two line by sixteen character display is
used to convey several types of information.
When the printer is on line and printing, or
ready to print, the display will show the
currently selected tractor path and the form
currently loaded in that path. When the
printer is off line, the display will continue to
show this information, additional information
based upon other buttons being pressed by the
operator, or error conditions such as “Check
Paper”.
ONLINE Status
Indicator
This is a multicolored LED which is used to
display the following information:
Green: The printer is on line and ready to print.
Flashing Green: The printer is in the process of going back on
line. Typically occurs after a new form has
been loaded while the printer is confirming
which forms are loaded in the tractors.
