Setting the quick setup

You can print out the quick fax setup guide and select the desired
receiving mode depending on your situation.

FAX ONLY” (default): Use only as a fax (page 35).

DIST. RING”: With the Distinctive Ring service (page 39).

EXT. TAM”: With an external telephone answering machine

TEL ONLY”: Mostly phone calls (page 35).
1. Press {MENU}.
2. Press {#}, then {1}{0}{0}.
3. Press {SET}.
4. Press {SET} again to print the quick fax setup guide.

If you do not wish to print it, press {STOP}.
5. Press {1} to {4} to display the desired setting.
6. Press {SET}.
7. Press {MENU}.
Setting the date and time
