(PIP)

P

icture-in-Picture (PIP) is the
showing of more than one

picture on the TV screen at the
same time. (You see one main
screen picture and a single sub-
picture or multiple subpictures.)
Your TV applies dual-tuner tech-
nology designed for improved
viewing enjoyment. This dual
tuner feature allows you to view
antenna/cable inputs on both the
main picture and subpicture at the
same time. You also have separate
tuning control for each. The dual
tuner can operate with only one
input (ANT[enna] A only) or two
inputs (ANT[enna] A and
ANT[enna] B).

The ANT(enna) A input can be
viewed as both the main picture
and the subpicture simultaneous-
ly. ANT(enna) B can be viewed
only as a main picture.

See pages 26–30 for information
on connecting accessory devices.
Also see the Quick Use and Setup
Guide that came with your TV.
After making the connections, you
can view the video from accessory
device sources in the PIP window.

Press the PIP ON/OFF button

on the remote. A subpicture will

appear in one of the two different
modes—Single or Surf. The mode
that appears is dependent on the last
mode viewed.

Press the PIP ON/OFF button

to change to the next PIP mode.

Press the PIP ON/OFF button a

third time to return to the regular
screen.

See the next page for more
information on Surf Mode PIP.
