You can select the sensitivity to suit the brightness of the surroundings.
Sensitivity

Press the MENU button in Capture mode.
The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears.

to select [Sensitivity].

The pull-down menu appears.

Setting the Sensitivity
Auto
Flash does not discharge: Automatically set in a range from 50 to 200.
Flash discharges: Automatically set in a range from 50 to 400.
50 • The lower the sensitivity (the lower values), the sharper the image and
the less noise. The shutter speed will be slower in low light conditions.
• The higher the sensitivity (the higher values), the faster the shutter
speed in low light conditions to reduce camera shake, but the image
may be affected by noise.

You can select 800 or 1600 for Sensitivity in Blur reduction mode.
When auto is set, the Sensitivity is set automatically in a range from
50 to 1600.
