2.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

2.1 FEATURES
• 64 kbps synchronous data rate

2.2 DESCRIPTION
The Patton Model 1082/F is a high speed, AC powered short range
modem that is able to convert data from a 64K G.703 network and trans-
mit it at extended distances via 2 wire (single twisted pair) DSL. The
G.703 network provides a 64K co-directional three level signal using
either octet timing or clear channel mode. The 1082/F will detect and
pass either octet timing (preserving byte integrity over the modem link) or
