CHANGE RINGTONES, ALERT TONES AND
VOLUME
You can change, or personalise, individual settings within a
ringtone. For example, in General ringtone, change the ringing
tone to a ringing tone you downloaded.
From Settings application:
1. Open Ringtones.
2. Scroll to the desired ringtone.
3. Press Options and select Personalise.
4. Scroll to the desired setting:
Ringing tone,
line 1 Scroll through list of tones. To hear the tone, high-
light the tone name and wait. To stop the tone,
press any key. To select a tone, highlight the tone
name and press Select.
Ringing tone,
line 2 Same as Line 1 ringing tone.
Ringing type Choose Ringing, Ascending, Ring once, Beep
once, or Silent.
Ringing volume Scroll to move the volume bars.
Message alert
tone Same as Line 1 ringing tone.
Chat alert tone Same as Line 1 ringing tone.
Vibrating alert Select On or Off.
Keypad tones Select Off, Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3.
Warning tones Select On or Off.
Alert for If you have set up Contacts groups, select the
desired group name if you want the phone to ring
only when members of that group call. Other
incoming calls will have the silent alert.
Profile name Change the name of any ringtone except General.
