Press
for at least 2 seconds until you hear
a beep to turn on the power.

The power indicator will light red.

Press
repeatedly to choose the desired
resolution.

You will hear a beep, and the selected resolution indicator will light.

(PHOTO: For documents containing photographs, etc.)

Place the

” (scanning position) and the

” (document left side) on the document,
and press

You will hear a beep, and the operation indicator will light green
after about 1 or 2 seconds. You can start scanning after the
operation indicator lights green.

Press the hand scanner against the document, and
move it slowly towards the direction of the arrow (
).

When it is scanning properly, the operation indicator will flash green.

Scanning speed for different resolution types.

” (STANDARD): Move up to 50mm per second.

” (PHOTO): Move up to 25mm per second.

If the scanner is being moved too quickly, you will hear a warning
beep (p.4).

After scanning the document, press

You will hear a beep, and the operation indicator will turn off. The
document will be memorized as 1 page.

To continue scanning another page, repeat steps 2 to 5.

When you have finished scanning, press
for at
least 2 seconds until you hear a beep to turn off the
power.
