Control Solution Range
If test results fall outside the expect-
ed range, repeat the test. Results that
fall outside the expected range may
indicate the system is not working
properly. Some possible causes are:

Procedural error
■
Expired or contaminated
control solution
■
Test strip code and meter code
do not match
■
Dirty meter or test strip holder
■
Test strip deterioration
■
Meter malfunction
■
Control solution that is outside
of the temperature range 15–35˚C
(59–95˚F)
