Clearing Paper Jams
The facsimile machine has two different messages for paper jams.
The message “ORIGINAL DOC. JAM” indicates a problem in the Scanner section.
The message “RECORDING PAPER JAM” indicates a problem with the printer paper
path.
Document Jams
When a document jam occurs, the message “ORIGINAL DOC. JAM” appears on the
LCD. To remove the jam, follow the procedure below.

Open the Scanner Cover and remove the jammed
documents.

Open the ADF Cover and remove the jammed
documents.

Close the Scanner Cover.
