Dolby Digital (AC-3) can be used when playing DVD or LD software bearing the
D I G I T A L
mark and Dolby Digital (AC-3) format digital broadcasts (etc.). Dolby Pro
Logic and Dolby 3 Stereo can be used when playing video, DVD, or LD software
bearing the
mark. DSP modes can be used with any source except
Dolby Digital.
Be sure to complete “Set up for surround play” before using any of these
surround modes.

Each press of the DSP key switches the sound fields as shown below.
1 ARENA :A lively feeling as felt in the frontmost seat in a
concert arena.
2 JAZZ CLUB :Sound field of a jazz live house where cymbals
sound sharply.
3 STADIUM :A free feeling with little reverberation reflected
from the ceiling.
4 CATHEDRAL :A sound field like in a church.
5 THEATER
:A lively sound field like in a theater.
When the DSP mode is selected:
