The Model W1814 MUST be securely fastened to a
workbench before it can be safely operated. An unsecure
jointer may shift during operation and cause serious
personal injury.
The strongest bench mounting option is a "Through
Mount" where holes are drilled all the way through the
workbench, and hex bolts, washers, and hex nuts are
used to secure the jointer to the workbench.
Another option for mounting is a "Direct Mount" where
the machine is simply secured to the workbench with lag
screws.
Mount the jointer to your workbench now.
