„ Erasing a group
On a group-recorded MD, you can erase all tracks in a
group at once. (Group erase)
Caution:
Once a group has been erased, it cannot be recovered.
Check carefully before you erase it.
Note:
The GROUP ERASE function erases the group and
group name.

Whilst in the stop mode, select the group you
want to erase (page 24).

Press the M button.
The unit enters the menu select mode.

Move the M button toward
or to select
"G(GROUP)" and press it.

Move the M button toward or to select
"E(Gr&TrERASE)" and press it.

Press the M button.
The selected group will be
erased.
z Complete the operation within 25 seconds whilst se-
lecting the menus.
z If you press the CLEAR button during the operation,
the previous display appears.
