In the stop or playback mode, set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to
MODE 1 and press the direct number buttons to select the track num-
ber.

During playback, set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 1 and
press the DIRECT button.

Specify the time with the direct number buttons.
! Enter minutes and seconds.
! To specify 4 minutes and 23 seconds, enter "0423".
! Specify the elapsed time of the track.
