When programming a macro for an existing function
key/button
Select a function key/button you want to program a macro for.

Tip
You can also program a macro for an Empty key/button having no setting.
For example, select a function key/button a macro is to be programmed for
in the DVD component.

Press the [SET] key for 2 seconds or longer in the
Home display.
The Set display appears.

Press the [COMPONENT EDIT] key.
The Component edit display appears.

Press the [SYSTEM MACRO]
key.

Press a Component key that
includes the function key/
button you want to
program a macro for.
For example, press the [DVD] key.
Note
Make sure to set the label to a new key. The label will not be set when no letters
are input even if you press the [OK] key.
