Install the battery pack and card
The card can be used after it has been formatted with the camera (see
FORMATTING A CARD on page 35). Be sure to turn off the power before
installing or removing the card.
Use the battery pack recharged in step 1 above.
Make sure that the battery pack polarity ((+) and (–)) and the card orientation
are correct.

Insert the battery pack.

Insert the card.

Open battery compartment cover
on the digital camera side.
Close the battery compartment
cover.
Insert the battery pack.

Push the card cover lever.
Close the card cover.
Insert the card all the way.
