To change the ASR dialing region:
1. Press and hold or .
2. Press SETTINGS (right softkey) > Dialing Region .
3. Highlight an option and press .
Ⅲ North America to recognize only numbers valid in North
America.
Ⅲ Other to recognize any number regardless of location.
To display the ASR software version:
1. Press and hold or .
2. Press SETTINGS (right softkey) > About .
Managing Voice Services
Use your phone’s Voice Services to record audio memos to
remind you of important events, phone numbers, or grocery list
items, and to record call memos of the other party’s voice during
a phone call.
Recording Memos
To record an audio memo:
1. Press > Tools > Voice Services > Voice Memo >
Record .
2. Start recording after the beep.
To stop recording:
ᮣ Press , , , or STOP (left softkey).
To record a call memo:
1. During a call, press OPTIONS (right softkey) > Voice Memo .
2. Start recording after the beep.
To stop recording:
ᮣ Press , , or STOP (left softkey). (Recording will also
stop when the other party disconnects.)
Note You can store up to 1900 memos on your phone. Each
memo can be up to three minutes long.
