Troubleshooting chart

Many potential problems can be resolved by the owner without call-
ing a service technician.
If something is wrong with this product, check the following before
calling your authorized SHARP dealer or service center.

The clock is not
set to the correct
time.

The video mode may not match the jacks you
are using. Change the mode as follows.
While in the stop mode, press the SHIFT but-
ton and DIRECT/VIDEO MODE button on
the remote control a few times (see page 17).
