Installation
INSTALLING AND CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
The SP-805 is packaged with a rechargeable nickel-cadmium bat-
tery pack. Before using your phone, you must install the battery
pack and then charge it for 10 hours.
Press down and slide off the
compartment cover. Plug the
battery pack connector into
the phone’s socket. The con-
nector fits only one way. Re-
place the cover.
To charge the battery pack,
simply place the handset on
the base. The CHARGING
indicator on the base lights.
Note: You can place the handset on the base faceup or facedown.
Recharge the battery pack
when:

the LOW BATT indicator
on the handset flashes
²
the phone beeps four
times when you press
PHONE
²
the LOW BATT indicator is on when the phone is off
²
the phone does not operate when you press
PHONE
