Using Your Phone’s Lock Feature
Locking Your Phone
When your phone is locked, you can only receive incoming
calls or make calls to 911, Sprint Customer Service, or special
numbers. (See “Using Special Numbers” on page 70.)
To lock your phone:
1. From the Security menu, select Lock Phone ( ).
2. Highlight Lock Now and press . (To set your phone to
lock the next time it is turned on, select On Power-Up
and press
.)
Unlocking Your Phone
To unlock your phone:
1. From standby mode, press .
2. Enter your lock code.
Changing the Lock Code
To change your lock code:
1. Press Menu ( ) to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings ( ).
3. Select Security ( ).
4. Enter your lock code. (The Security menu is displayed.)
5. Select Change Lock ( ).
6. Enter your new lock code and press Next ( ).
7. Re-enter your new lock code press Done ( ).
