Press Z PUSH on the unit.

Load a recorded/recordable tape into
the cassette holder.
You can use TYPE I (normal) tape.

Load a tape.

Press DIRECTION on the unit
repeatedly to select “
g ” to play one
side. Select “ h ” to play both sides, or
“ j ” * to play both sides repeatedly.
* The tape deck stops automatically after
repeating the sequence five times.

Press TAPE nN .
Press TAPE nN again to play the
reverse side. The tape starts playing.

Tip
When a tape is inserted, corresponding forward/
reverse indicators light.

With the side

Playing a tape

Stop play Press x.
Fast-forward or
rewind Press m or M.
Switch to TAPE
function from
another source Press TAPE nN .
Playback starts automatically
when a tape is loaded.
Cut the sound Press MUTING.
Press MUTING again or
VOLUME + to restore sound.
Remove a tape Press Z PUSH on the unit in stop
mode.
