Setting the Speed of the Internal Cooling Fan
Set the speed of the internal cooling fan to “HIGH” when
installing the Monitor vertically, so that the internal heat of
the Monitor is released more effectively.
Note:
• When installing this Monitor vertically, it is also required to
attach the external cooling fan unit. (See page 13.)

On the remote control:
Press VOLUME – while holding MENU/
EXIT to display the Setup Menu.
On the Monitor:
Press
2 while holding MENU to display
the Setup Menu.

5/∞ to move the cursor (3) to
“FAN SPEED.”
• The Setup Menu consists of two pages. If you keep
pressing
5/∞, you can move to the other page from
the current page.

Press
2/3 to select the desired setting.
Each time you press the button, the speed of the internal
cooling fan changes as follows:
LOW
:
Initial setting. Normally select this.
HIGH
:
Select this when installing the Monitor
vertically.

Press MENU/EXIT (or MENU on the
Monitor) once to exit from the menu
operations.

Setting the Sampling Mode
By setting the sampling mode properly according to the
computer signals being input, you can reduce noise on the
screen and display thin vertical lines of the picture more clearly.
Note:
• “SAMPLING MODE” appears on the Setup Menu only
when VGA480-60, WVGA-60, XGA-60, or WXGA-60 signal
is input.

STD
:
Select this when VGA480-60 or XGA-60 signal
is being input.
WIDE
:
Select this when WVGA-60 or WXGA-60
signal is being input.
• The sampling mode setting does not affect other
computer signals than above if you set it to either
“STD” or “WIDE.”

Press MENU/EXIT (or MENU on the
Monitor) once to exit from the menu
operations.
• When you have selected “WIDE” in step 3, readjust
“DOT CLOCK” and “CLOCK PHASE” of “SIZE/
POSITION ADJ.” on the menu (see page 17).
