GETTING STARTED

This camera’s 2-way power supply system lets
you choose the most appropriate source of
power. Do not use provided power supply units
with other equipment.
Charging the Battery Pack

Set the power switch to OFF while pressing
down the lock button located on the switch.

Slide and hold OPEN in the direction of the
arrow a, then open the battery/CF card cover.

Insert the battery pack firmly into the battery
pack mount until it locks into space as shown in
the illustration.

Close the battery/CF card cover firmly until it
locks.

Connect the AC adapter to the camera.

Connect the power cord to the AC adapter.
(AP-V14E only)

Plug the power cord into an AC outlet. The
power/charge lamp on the camera blinks to
indicate charging has started.

When the power/charge lamp goes out,
charging is finished. Unplug the power cord from
the AC outlet. Disconnect the AC adapter from
the camera.
To detach the battery pack
Open the battery/CF card cover, and remove the
battery pack while sliding BATTERY in the
direction of the arrow
