Turning the Talk Permit Tone On or Off
You can enable and disable the Talk Permit Tone if needed.
Procedure:

to select.

to Talk Permit and press

to select.

Select Turn On. Press

to enable the Talk Permit Tone.
The display shows Talk Permit Tone On.
OR
Select Turn Off. Press

to disable the Talk Permit Tone.
The display shows Talk Permit Tone Off.
Turning the LED Indicators On or Off
You can enable and disable the LED Indicators if needed.

to LED Indicator and press

Select Turn On. Press

to enable the LED Indicators.
The display shows All LEDs On.

to disable the LED Indicators.
The display shows All LEDs Off.
The display backlight, buttons and/or keypad backlighting are
automatically turned off if the LED Indicators are disabled (see
Controlling the Display Backlight on page 58).
