It is important to remember that any installation or removal of
modules must be done with power off - this device has no hot
swappable units.
Cabling is, of course movable at any time and this includes the
stacking bus cables. Removing a stacking bus cable will be detected
by the Master unit and this will cause a reboot; adding a cable is not
detected by the Master so a manual stack reboot will be required.
