2. Using a screwdriver, turn the screw on the back of the parent unit 90
degrees in a counterclockwise direction. Remove the battery cover.
NOTE
Do not try to rotate the screw further than the position
OPEN
.
3. Install the enclosed 2 AAA rechargeable batteries following the
polarity as shown.
4. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw in a clockwise
direction.
5. Press
P
. The LCD display will illuminate.
6. Press and hold
P
to switch off the parent unit.
NOTE
When the battery level is low, the
icon will appear on the LCD
display and the parent unit emits a short warning tone once every minute.

Parent unit power supply
1. Connect the power adapter cable of the charger pod to the mains
socket (230V/50Hz).
NOTE
Only use the enclosed adapter (6V DC / 300mA).
WARNING
Do not use non-rechargeable batteries for the Parent Unit. Risk of
explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used
batteries according to the instructions.
