9. Tap Register > oK.
Completing the Ciao
Registration
When you receive the Ciao Activation
text message, you can complete the
registration process.
1. Form the application tray, touch
Messaging.
2. Touch the Ciao! Activation message
to open it.
3. Touch the link to complete the
registration.
4. Enter your myGarmin user name
and password.
5. Touch Sign in > Done.
Setting Up Ciao!
The first time you use Ciao, you are
guided through the set up.
1. From the application tray, touch
Ciao!.
2. Select the check box to verify that
you are of legal age to use Ciao!.
3. Touch Next.
4. Enter a display name, and touch
oK.
5. Touch a type of location update
(Manual or Automatic), and touch
Done.
6. Touch the link to read the terms of
service for the displayed network or
networks.
7. Touch Accept.
Your location is updated and becomes
available to your friends.
