To clean
the door

Inside of the door:

• Because the area inside the gasket is cleaned

during the self-clean cycle, you do not need to
clean this by hand. Any soap left on the liner
causes additional stains when the oven is
heated, so be sure to rinse thoroughly.

• The area outside the gasket can be cleaned

with a soap-filled scouring pad.

Do not rub or clean the door gasket—

the fiberglass material of the gasket has an
extremely low resistance to abrasion. An intact
and well-fitting oven door gasket is essential
for energy-efficient oven operation and good
baking results. If you notice the gasket
becoming worn, frayed or damaged in
any way or if it has become displaced on
the oven, you should have it replaced.

Outside of the door:

• Depending on your model, see the Stainless

steel surfaces section or the Painted surfaces
section.

Care and Cleaning

Wall Oven

Painted surfaces include the door, top
of the control panel and the drawer front.
Clean these with soap and water or a vinegar
and water solution.

Do not use commercial oven cleaners, cleaning
powders, steel wool or harsh abrasives on any
painted surface.

Painted
surfaces (on
some
models)

Do not use a steel-wool pad; it will scratch the
surface.

To clean the stainless steel surface, use
warm sudsy water or a stainless steel cleaner or
polish. Always wipe the surface in the direction
of the grain. Follow the cleaner instructions for
cleaning the stainless steel surface.
