3.7 S14H & S14P, DC-powered, -48VDC, 24VDC and 12VDC Installation
This section describes the proper connection of the -48VDC leads (or 24VDC,
12VDC leads) to the Direct DC power terminal
block on the Magnum S14H hardened media
converter (as shown in Figure above). The DC
terminal block on the Magnum S14H is located
on the left side of the unit and is equipped with
three (3) screw-down lead posts. The power
terminals are identified as positive (+) and
negative (-), and they are floating inside the
unit so that the user if desired may ground
either of the terminals. The chassis is “earth”
or ground (GND).
