WARBLE TONE
A pure tone with slight, but rapid, frequency variations.
WEIGHTED
A measure of the amplification (gain) of an aid, using an input signal
GAIN
(source) that has a spectral shape similar to that of the long term
average of speech.
WEIGHTED
The measurement of amplitude, in SPL, of the output of an aid, using
POWER
an input signal (source) that has a spectral shape similar to that of the
long term average of speech.
WHITE NOISE
A signal composed of all frequencies, which vary randomly in phase,
each frequency having equal long-term energy levels.
