LCD Light ON, OFF, AUTO
These items enable or disable the FS-4 HD's LCD backlight.
• LCDLIGHT ON
Group Default
Keeps the backlight on permanently.
• LCDLIGHT OFF
Keeps the backlight off permanently.
• LCDLIGHT AUTO
Turns off the backlight after one minute.
On the FS-4 HD, pressing any button pad button turns
the backlight back on. Any information screen turns the
backlight on.
Alarm ON, OFF
Default is
On

• When the alarm is enabled, pressing any button on the
FS-4 HD produces audio feedback.
• The FS-4 HD alarm triggers when conditions such as
low battery charge, low disk space, or over heating
occur.
• When Alarm is set to
Off
, the audio feedback for the
buttons is disabled, however the alarm will still sound
for low power, high heat, or low disk space conditions.
Stop Frame, Gray, No Video
These settings determine which video is output from the FS-4
HD when using the Search Index keys to view recorded clips.
• STOP FRAME DV only
Displays the first frame of the clip.
• STOP GRAY DV only
Displays a black frame.
• STOP NO VIDEO Group Default
