1R UHJXODWLRQ Temperature regulation cannot
reach a stable condition.
The temperature of the cooling
water is outside the permissible
range (12°C to 28°C).
Check cooling water temperature
and correct if necessary.
Check the flow quantity and correct it
if necessary (see Section 11.3).
(UURU ZDWHU VHQVRU The calorimeter is incorrectly
detecting a filled inner vessel.
The system displays the mal-
function and interrupts the
measurement.
If there are any drops of water on the
water sensor, remove them (see
Section 11.6).
If the water level in the inner vessel
is higher than 3 cm, empty the inner
vessel.
If this does not resolve the problem,
please contact the Technical Service
Department.
(UURU LJQLWLRQ FRQWDFW This error message is displayed
if ignition capability can no longer
be ensured during a measure-
ment.
The experiment is stopped.
Check:
• the ignition wire
• the ignition wire fastening
• the electrodes in the decomposi-
tion vessel (the electrodes must
be tightened)
• the contact spring on the filling
head (see Section 11.6).

sample rack does not agree with
the assignment that is adminis-
tered by the calorimeter.
See the Operating Instructions for
the C 5020 sample rack.
1RW HQRXJK PHPRU\ The total number of all meas-
urements that the C 2000 can
administer during one run is lim-
ited to about 240.
This limit will be reached no
sooner than after 50 hours of
operating time. When it is
reached, the message above
appears.
Turn the device completely off.
