Switching Between Wireless LAN Mode and USB Mode

Following the procedure below to switch the connection interface between wireless LAN and USB.
1 Turn on the printer, and then hold down the (Power) button for at least 3 seconds.
2 Check that the WIRELESS LAN indicator switches either from lit to blinking or from blinking to
lit, and then release the (Power) button.
NOTE
• If the printer cannot be switched to wireless LAN mode or USB mode after holding down the
button for at least 3 seconds, wait a while, and then try again.
• Default, the printer is in USB mode.
• If the printer was started up in wireless LAN mode, it will take a maximum of about 15 seconds
for wireless LAN to become functional after the printer is turned on.
• If the printer was switched to wireless LAN mode while it is starting up in USB mode, it will take
a maximum of about 15 seconds for wireless LAN to become functional.
• As with turning on the printer in wireless LAN mode, it will take a maximum of about 15 seconds
to become functional, even if the printer was started up in USB mode, then immediately
switched to wireless LAN mode.
