LOOP VAR—Pressure controllers are
defaulted to pressure.
Pressure means that the controller is
“closing the loop” on the pressure. This
means that when you give the controller
a set-point, the controller compares
that set-point to the measured pressure
and adjusts the valve to try to make the
pressure and the set-point match. For the
pressure, the input signal (e.g. 0-5 Vdc)
corresponds to the full-scale pressure for
the device.
