GENErAL mAINTENANcE
Contact with a hot
engine or exhaust system can cause
serious burns or fires. Let the engine
and muffler cool before storing the
generator.
NOTE:
All
generators
contain
maintenance parts (e.g. oil, filters, etc.)
that are periodically replaced. These
used parts may contain substances that
are regulated and must be disposed of in
accordance with local and national laws
and regulations.
NOTE: Take note of the positions and
locations of parts during disassembly to
make reassembly easier.
NOTE: Any service operations not
included in this section should be
performed by a PORTER-CABLE factory
service center or a PORTER-CABLE
authorized service center.
The following procedures must be
followed when maintenance or service
is performed on the generator.

* The engine oil must be changed after the first 20 hours or operation. Thereafter
change oil every 150 hours of operation or monthly, whichever comes first.
