Operational Mode
There are two operational modes; the mirroring mode and the single mode.
Mirroring mode: The two hard disk drives are used with the mirroring function and images from the camera will be
recorded on them simultaneously. Even when one of them becomes faulty, images from the camera will be
recorded on the other one.
Single mode: The two hard disk drives are used independently.
It is recommended to use this unit in the mirroring mode when using this unit for the first time. (When switching to the
mirroring mode after using the unit in the single mode, images recorded on the hard disk drives will be deleted.)
Check the current operational mode
The MIRROR indicator on the front panel of the unit indicates the current operational mode.
